There’s a new facial at Cerulean! The Vineyard Grape Facial is packed with antioxidants while still gentle enough for all skin types, including pregnant and nursing mothers!

The sweet-smelling Grape Enzyme in this protocol looks and feels just like the inside of a grape. Grapes are rich in antioxidant polyphenols and offer anti-aging preventative benefits, while papain offers mild exfoliation. The Marble Berry Nourishing Mask will nourish and firm the skin, resulting in a beautiful, healthy glow. The Marble Berry mask is an antioxidant-rich mask to treat and hydrate the skin. It will be a great anti-aging, nourishing facial.
The Grape Enzyme contains only gentle enzymes so it is perfect for all skin types. Marble Berry is designed specifically for aging and parched skin. This unique purple cream mask has natural botanicals of olives and black rice bran which is sure to leave skin feeling and looking refreshed and healthy. Because this mask also possesses an ingredient that recycles vitamin C, it protects and oxygenates the skin, leaving it looking youthful and clear.

Everyone’s favorite Valentine’s facial is back! This remarkable treatment not only hydrates dry winter skin but is a treat for the senses as well! The Raspberry Peach enzyme is packed with antioxidants for an anti-aging facial for all skin types. Raspberry contains high levels of the polyphenol antioxidant ellagic acid which soothes skin irritations and reduces inflammation, while peach softens and is aromatically relaxing. Hibiscus flower (flower power) and pumpkin add the exfoliating properties to this enzyme. Cocoa, glycerin and squalene are excellent emollients, lubricants and humectants to draw moisture to dry, flaky skin. Vitamin E is an excellent anti-aging antioxidant. Recommended for normal, combination and dry skin types, and it’s mommy-safe as well!
$65 for a 1-hour facial until Feb 29. No other offers, coupons, or discounts apply.
Clients frequently ask me if I think they need a chemical peel. Here’s the thing: almost everyone at any age can benefit from a chemical peel. Peels come in varying strengths and with varying results. Remember that episode of Sex and the City when Samantha impulsively gets a peel before a big event?
Yeah. That rarely happens outside of a doctor’s office or medspa, and even then, you have to ask for that kind of result. A responsible esthetician will take a client history to assess how your skin reacts to certain products and different levels of exfoliation as well as a full consultation to discuss your desired outcome. Together you will decide on what the best course of action is for you.
Do you want just a simple refresher to make you skin feel smoother and less dull? A single glycolic peel could do the trick, and you will most likely experience little to no “peeling” a day or two after your appointment. If you’re looking for something more intense, like lifting pigmentation (commonly called “sun spots”) or reducing deep wrinkles, you may need a series of peels where you would make three to six appointments over the course of a few weeks to a few months, after which you will see flaking, the amount varies with each individual. Even if you have sensitive skin, there are ways to buffer a peel to reduce the intensity while still providing an effective exfoliation.
So yes, you should get a peel. Set up some realistic expectations, know that you aren’t going to look 10 years younger after one treatment, and schedule your appointment today!
May’s Facial of the Month is the Sweet Cherry Brightening Facial!
This 60-minute treatment reverses the effects of sun damage and premature aging. Potent antioxidants and corrective botanical extracts revitalize the skin. It features the Naturopathica Sweet Cherry Brightening Enzyme Peel, an exfoliating mask that helps brighten and smooth sun-damaged skin. The peel has:
- Sweet Cherry Puree: rich in vitamins and phytochemicals, including Vitamin C and Beta Carotene, which function as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agents.
- Resveratrol: An antioxidant polyphenol found in red wine skins, this extends the life of the cell by protecting it against free radical damage. Used topically, it also brightens pigmentation.
- Pomegranate: an ancient fruit with exceptionally rich ethno-medical applications, this contains high levels of polyphenol. In studies, Pomegranate Seed Oil was shown to stimulate Keratinocyte proliferation, thereby promoting regeneration of the epidermis. This helps repair skin and even skin tone.
The Sweet Cherry Brightening facial is appropriate for those with aging skin, sun damage, and dull, devitalized skin — so basically, everyone. 60-minute facial is $75 (normally $95) until May 30, no other discounts or coupons apply. Call (530)448-9391 or book online at ceruleanskincare.com today!
